  • Nobody has any rights to anyone else's property automatically.  It is more like you and everyone else give permission to the government to, among other things, redistribute the wealth, under the concept of the social contract.

  • Allan, the fact is that even the Republicans do some redistribution of wealth.  They just choose to redistribute it in a different manner.  If you want to look at it as a violation of your property rights .... well then even the GOP is violating you.
